“We are a newly retired couple from Sudbury.
We have three married children and enjoy spending time with our six wonderful grandchildren. We are avid outdoors people who enjoying canoeing, hiking, cycling, walking and snowshoeing. We look forward to continuing an active lifestyle as we move into cohousing. We are also excited about enjoying the benefits of owning our own home and staying connected to neighbours where we interact and support each other.
We also like the idea of being involved in the operation and management of the cohousing property.”

Gilles and Janet
“We have been married for over 40 years and have lived our whole lives in Sudbury. We have been retired for the last few years and have found it easy to stay active in Sudbury walking, biking and cross country skiing. We have thought about cohousing for a long time believing it would be a great way to maintain our privacy and home ownership while being connected and supported in a caring community. We are excited about the great group of people who we are exploring this journey with us!’
Peter and Carmen
“Married for over 30 years, we have 3 children, two are living in Ottawa and the third lives in Norway. Carmen is a retired special education teacher. Peter is still working and is the owner of a local business called “For Seniors Only.”
We both enjoy travelling and our adventures have taken us to Jordan, Kyrgyzstan and other various European destinations. We hope to continue traveling once the world gets back on its feet. We both enjoy physical activities such as biking and hiking. Carmen’s interests include yoga, reading and music. Peter always has a project on the go be it repairs or renovations at home or at the camp.
We hope to continue this active lifestyle well into our old age and are convinced that living in cohousing would enable us to do this.”
